1. Records Governance
- UGL shall identify official records, owners, retention periods, access classes and approved repositories.
2. Version Control
- Controlled documents require clear versions, status, approving authority, effective date and superseded relationship.
3. Knowledge Management
- Operational knowledge should be captured in systems, manuals, lessons and training rather than remain dependent on individuals.
4. Technical Writing
- Rules and procedures should use clear language, defined terms, controlled references and unambiguous responsibility.
5. Archives
- UGL should preserve material governance history, championship records, media, decisions and institutional milestones.
6. Lessons Learned
- Post-event and post-project reviews should produce reusable lessons with owners and follow-through rather than unstructured retrospectives.
7. Public Records
- Public governing documents should remain accessible with status and version history sufficient to identify the controlling public text.
8. Protected Records
- Personnel, investigation, security, confidential research and commercially sensitive records remain protected according to classification and law.
