LEGAL / TECHNOLOGY
COOKIE POLICY
Draft for review before production launch
1. Essential website storage
WordPress may use cookies or similar storage for essential functions such as administrator login, security and preferences. These are not used by UGL to sell advertising profiles.
2. Analytics preference
If UGL enables Google Analytics, UGL.gg asks for an analytics preference before loading the analytics script. The preference is stored in a first-party cookie named ugl_analytics_consent. Declining analytics prevents the UGL GA4 loader from running. If UGL uses Plausible, the deployment is intended to operate without traditional analytics cookies.
3. Embedded YouTube and Twitch
UGL.gg/live may embed YouTube or Twitch. Those platforms may use their own cookies or local storage when their players load or when you interact with them. Their practices are governed by their own policies.
4. Managing cookies
You can use your browser controls to remove or block cookies. Blocking essential WordPress cookies may affect administrator or authenticated functionality. Optional analytics can be declined through the UGL.gg preference prompt when GA4 is enabled.
5. Change your analytics preference
If a UGL analytics preference has already been stored on this browser, you can reset it and choose again on the next page load.
6. Changes
This policy should be updated when UGL adds a material analytics, advertising, authentication, commerce or personalization technology.
