1. Event Authority

  1. Every sanctioned event shall have a defined event command structure, Sporting authority, operational authority and emergency escalation path.

2. Venue Selection

  1. Existing convention centers and suitable event facilities are the preferred venue model. Prestige does not substitute for operational fitness.
  2. Venue selection should consider capacity, power, networking, accessibility, safety, loading, broadcast, transportation and contingency.

3. Competition Floor

  1. Competition-floor layouts shall protect athlete movement, officiating sightlines, equipment security, spectator boundaries and emergency access.

4. Technical Infrastructure

  1. Power, network, capture, timing and competition systems require documented readiness, redundancy and change control appropriate to event scale.
  2. Sensitive network configurations remain protected even when public requirements are published.

5. Credentials and Access

  1. Access shall be role-based. Hospitality, sponsorship or executive status does not create unrestricted operational access.

6. Safety and Safeguarding

  1. Events shall maintain emergency plans, incident reporting, safeguarding controls, participant-care resources and clear stop-work authority.

7. Accessibility

  1. Accessibility must be planned into venue, digital, competition and communications systems rather than treated only as an accommodation after request.

8. Travel and Logistics

  1. Equipment, freight, storage, load-in/load-out, athlete travel and critical spares shall be planned as competition dependencies.

9. Event QA

  1. Pre-event readiness, live issue management and post-event review shall produce corrective actions and institutional lessons.
