1. Commercial Purpose
- Commercial growth should finance and expand the sport without acquiring authority to redefine it.
2. Sponsorship Boundary
- Sponsorship buys visibility, not Sporting authority. A sponsor may not select champions, dictate officiating, force athlete selection, purchase research conclusions or convert sponsorship into procurement entitlement.
3. Rights Architecture
- UGL shall define central League rights and Club rights so that both can build durable commercial programs without conflicting grants.
4. Publisher Interface
- The publisher owns the game. UGL governs League competition subject to applicable law and legitimate licensing rights.
5. Ticketing
- Ticketing should use transparent pricing, disclose material fees, support accessibility and avoid artificial scarcity practices inconsistent with public trust.
6. Merchandise and Licensing
- Official merchandise and licensing require approved marks, quality controls and accurate claims of affiliation.
7. Restricted Categories
- Gambling/sportsbook sponsorship is prohibited. Speculative crypto and fan-token financialization are ordinarily prohibited. Tobacco/nicotine, illicit drugs, illegal weapons and adult-only categories are prohibited. Alcohol is age-segmented; pharmaceutical participation requires enhanced review.
8. Manufacturer Championships
- A Manufacturer Championship may recognize technical competition without creating preferred-supplier status or procurement entitlement.
9. Hospitality
- Hospitality benefits do not create access to restricted operational, Sporting, research or integrity areas.
