2. Planning Horizons
- UGL may use annual, multi-year and World-cycle planning horizons, with assumptions explicitly documented.
3. Integrated Planning
- Competition calendar, workforce capacity, events, technology, finance, media and commercial commitments should be reconciled before approval.
4. Portfolio Governance
- Programs, products, projects and major change initiatives shall have owners, intended outcomes, resource needs, dependencies and stop/continue criteria.
5. Change Control
- Material changes to scope, schedule, budget, risk or public commitments should be documented and approved at the correct authority level.
6. Metrics
- Metrics should inform decisions, not replace judgment. Targets must be interpreted in context and should not reward harmful gaming behavior.
7. Operational Excellence
- Improvement work should remove unnecessary friction while preserving resilience, judgment, quality, recovery and human capacity.
8. Post-Implementation Review
- Major initiatives should be reviewed for actual outcomes, unintended effects and lessons that should change future practice.
