1. World Cycle

  1. UGL World is planned as a mature four-year international championship. In a World year, the ordinary All-Star event is omitted and the Club calendar may be shortened.

2. National Teams

  1. One country may field one national team, subject to qualification, eligibility and roster rules. World records remain distinct from Club records.

3. Eligibility

  1. Citizenship is the primary national-eligibility basis unless a duly adopted rule provides a lawful alternative. Athlete representation is distinct from actual national-team selection.

4. Competition Format

  1. All seven Families are represented. Knockout competition should ordinarily use the first team to win four of seven Families.

5. Host Model

  1. The country becomes the venue. UGL may use a Championship Campus or coordinated multi-city network using existing facilities rather than require a permanent stadium.

6. Government and Host Funding

  1. Host funding or government support does not purchase Sporting authority, officiating control or competitive preference.

7. Club Release and Insurance

  1. World participation requires defined Club-release, athlete-insurance, compensation, schedule and recovery rules.

8. Immigration, Customs and Tax

  1. Visas, work authorization, customs, equipment movement, tax, currency and data-transfer requirements are competition dependencies and must be planned accordingly.

9. Safety and Political Conditions

  1. UGL should remain politically neutral in partisan competition while not pretending that law, safety, discrimination, conflict or travel risk are irrelevant to participant protection.

10. Media and Continuity

  1. UGL.gg/live remains the principal World media home at launch. International contingency planning must address broadcast, travel, venue, communications and critical supplier disruption.
